This Operations Manager role offers genuine senior-level influence supporting the Managing Director in driving operational performance across complex infrastructure projects throughout the UK Ireland and mainland Europe. The Role

As Operations Manager you will:

• Take responsibility for operational delivery across live projects
• Lead and develop Project Managers Site Managers Engineers and site teams
• Ensure projects are properly planned from pre-start through to completion
• Oversee programme certainty sequencing logistics and resource planning
• Identify operational risks early and implement practical solutions
• Drive high standards across safety quality productivity and site presentation
• Work closely with Commercial and Finance teams to ensure aligned project delivery
• Act as a senior escalation point for operational challenges
• Build strong relationships with clients subcontractors and principal contractors
• Recruit mentor and develop future leaders within the business

The Person

• Senior operational or project leadership experience within civil engineering or groundworks
• Strong knowledge of construction sequencing logistics and programme control
• Experience managing multiple projects across different locations
• Structured confident leadership style with strong communication skills
• Commercial awareness and a proactive solutions-focused approach
• Strong attention to detail with excellent HSEQ awareness
