Operations Graduate

Capula is seeking a motivated Operations Graduate to join our dynamic Operations team. This role offers an excellent opportunity for recent graduates to gain valuable experience in trade operations within a leading financial services firm.

Successful candidates will undergo comprehensive on-the-job training to understand the full trade lifecycle across various asset classes such as ETD Equity Fixed Income and OTC products. The role is ideal for individuals with a keen interest in finance strong analytical capabilities and a good eye for detail.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support and manage daily trade processing valuations reconciliations and settlement activities.
• Collaborate effectively with Trading IT Legal and Brokers to ensure smooth operations.
• Assist in the implementation and documentation of strategic IT and operational process improvements.
• Monitor and analyze operational metrics to identify trends and support decision-making.
• Adhere to operational risk controls and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

• A strong academic record typically a 2:1 or above from a recognized university.
• Undergraduate degree in a quantitative or technical discipline such as Engineering Mathematics Physics Computer Science or Economics.
• Demonstrated interest in financial markets and operations.
• Excellent quantitative analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
• Ability to build relationships across teams and work collaboratively.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with strong organizational skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and a willingness to learn tools like Power Automate Power BI.
• Coding skills in VBA SQL or Python are advantageous but not mandatory.
• Previous internship or work experience in financial services is preferred but not essential.
