CreditSights a Fitch Solutions company is currently seeking an Operations Associate to be based out of our Glasgow UK office

In this role you will be responsible for supporting our Fitch Solutions partner dv01. dv01 is lifting the curtain on the largest financial market in the world: structured finance. The $16 trillion market is the backbone of everyday activities that empower financial freedom from consolidating credit card debt and refinancing student loans to buying a home and starting a small business.

dv01s data analytics platform brings unparalleled transparency into investment performance and risk for lenders and Wall Street investors in structured products. As a data-first company we wrangle critical loan data and build modern analytical tools that enable strategic decision-making for responsible a nutshell were helping prevent a repeat of the 2008 global financial crisis by offering the data and tools required to make smarter data-driven decisions resulting in a safer world for all of us.

What You Need to Have:

• Bachelors degree required. A variety of educational histories will be considered for this role especially those with Accounting/Financial/Legal backgrounds.
• Microsoft Excel Word PowerPoint and Adobe PDF skills required.
• Established skills in accuracy organization and experience working in a high-volume time-sensitive environment.
• Ability to manage and execute challenging projects with minimal oversight.
• Possess strong organizational skills sound judgement and hold highest ethical standards.

What Would Make You Stand Out:

• Skilled in Microsoft Office (particularly Excel)
• Knowledge of R Python or SQL
• Knowledgeable in financial concepts and data
• Knowledge of structured finance
• Excels under tight deadlines and challenging timeframes
• A team player and enjoys a collaborative working environment
• An effective verbal and written communicator
• A dedication and willingness to contribute to the business and shape their role
