What youll be doing
In this pivotal role you will lead initiatives that enhance operational efficiency ensuring our warehousing processes are optimised for success. You will report to insert managers name and oversee a dedicated team driving collaboration and innovation to achieve our goals.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategies to improve operational efficiency across the warehousing function.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas for improvement and drive change.
- Monitor performance metrics and provide insights to enhance productivity.
- Lead and mentor your team fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and best practices.
What youll need to have (our must-haves)
- Proven experience in operational management within a warehousing or logistics environment.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
- Excellent leadership and team management capabilities.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and change management.
- Effective communication skills to engage and inspire your team.
It would be great if you also have
- Experience with Lean or Six Sigma methodologies.
- Knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS).
- A background in project management.
