Role: One to One Tutor

Academy: Outwood Academy Riverside

Start Date: ASAP

Salary (Actual Salary): 17.14 to 34.40 per hour (dependant upon qualifications).

Working Pattern: 20 Hours Per Week Term Time only Part Time.

Join us as a One to One Tutor where you will be key to planning implementing and delivering a broad balanced and differentiated curriculum for individual students. This vital role involves delivering intervention programmes encouraging academic growth and positively promoting the inclusive ethos of the Academy.

Responsibilities

The One to One Tutor will deliver intervention programmes to individuals working within the Maths department staff to prepare and implement appropriate learning experiences. A core duty is to assist in developing suitable intervention material lesson plans and resources.

You will be responsible for reporting on individual pupil progress and regularly liaising with the Head of Department and teachers to provide feedback. Furthermore you will support exam revision sessions and must comply with Child Safeguarding Procedures at all times.



Qualifications

We require a Graduate in a related subject or an AS/A2 level in a relevant subject or be a qualified teacher. You must possess excellent communication and listening skills alongside strong time management and organisational skills.

Essential abilities include supporting students with science work up to GCSE level and having a working knowledge of standard computer packages. Experience of working in a school environment is desirable.
