Job Summary

Are you looking for a rewarding role where you can make a genuine difference in peoples lives We have an On-Call Support Worker opportunity available to be based from your home travelling around our services in Hertfordshire.

As an On-Call Support Worker youll play a vital role in ensuring individuals receive the support they need to live independently and lead the life they choose. Youll respond to emergencies and cover requirements across our services working creatively and independently to make a real impact.

The Role

As a Support Worker youll provide emotional and practical support to adults with learning disabilities and autism helping them to live life their way.

Vitally this On-Call Support Worker position responds rapidly to urgent issues able to respond at a moments notice to support your colleagues in their services across Hertfordshire.

You will need to be available Monday to Friday. You can also work extra on-call hours for the higher pay rate.

Were committed to supporting our colleagues through regular check-ins supervision training and ongoing communication so youll feel supported both personally and professionally.

Skills Knowledge and Expertise

  • Minimum of 1 years experience providing person-centred support to people with learning disabilities and/or Autism
  • Ability to work independently use initiative and stay calm under pressure.
  • Strong commitment to person-centred approaches.
  • Positive motivated and patient.
  • Flexible and able to respond to different services as needed.
  • Essential: Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle
