Previous School Experience Essential

A high-performing primary school in Southampton is looking for an experienced Office Manager to take responsibility for the smooth running of its busy school office.

Previous experience working within a school is essential ideally in a School Office Manager Senior Administrator or similar position.

Youll oversee the day-to-day administration of the school while providing a professional and welcoming service to pupils parents staff and visitors.

The Role
  • Managing the day-to-day school office

  • Line managing administrative and reception staff

  • Overseeing pupil records and admissions

  • Coordinating attendance administration

  • Supporting the Headteacher and SLT

  • Managing school communications

  • Overseeing trips events and appointments

  • Supporting finance and purchasing processes

  • Maintaining accurate records

  • Ensuring GDPR and safeguarding procedures are followed

About You

Youll need excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage several priorities at once.

Experience using a school MIS such as SIMS Arbor or Bromcom would be advantageous alongside strong Microsoft Office skills.
