Office Manager

A welcoming Primary School in Maidstone is seeking an experienced and highly organised Office Manager to lead its busy administrative team on a full-time permanent basis.

This is an excellent opportunity for a professional administrator who enjoys working in a fast-paced school environment and takes pride in delivering outstanding operational support. As Office Manager you will play a central role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the school office while supporting the Headteacher staff parents and pupils.

You will oversee all aspects of school administration managing the office team and ensuring efficient systems are in place across admissions attendance pupil records and school communications. You will coordinate reception services manage correspondence organise meetings and maintain accurate records in line with school policies and data protection legislation.

Working closely with the Senior Leadership Team you will assist with HR administration support financial processes maintain office budgets and ensure school policies and procedures are followed consistently. You will also help coordinate school events educational visits and parent communications throughout the academic year.

The successful candidate will possess excellent leadership skills outstanding organisational abilities and the confidence to manage competing priorities while maintaining a professional and welcoming office environment.

Requirements
  • Previous Office Manager or Senior Administrator experience

  • Excellent organisational and leadership skills

  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities

  • High level of IT proficiency including Microsoft Office

  • Previous school administration experience desirable

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality

  • Professional proactive and approachable manner
