The school is seeking an experienced Office Manager to oversee the daily operation of its busy school office.
This is a varied position requiring someone who can confidently coordinate administrative processes support colleagues and ensure that the office operates efficiently throughout the school day.
The Office Manager will work closely with senior leaders administrative colleagues teaching staff parents students and external contacts.
You will be responsible for coordinating office procedures monitoring workloads and ensuring that important administrative deadlines are met.
The successful candidate will need to be highly organised confident managing people and capable of dealing with changing priorities.
Oversee the day-to-day operation of the school office.
Coordinate administrative duties across the office team.
Allocate tasks and monitor completion where appropriate.
Provide administrative support to senior leaders.
Manage incoming telephone calls emails and correspondence.
Ensure parents and visitors receive a professional and welcoming service.
Maintain accurate school records and administrative systems.
Support the organisation of meetings appointments and school events.
Coordinate administrative deadlines and key office activities.
Assist with admissions and student administration.
Support attendance and pupil record processes.
Maintain confidential staff and student information.
Ensure office procedures are followed consistently.
Monitor stationery and office supplies.
Liaise with suppliers and external service providers.
Prepare reports correspondence and administrative documents.
Support the preparation of school communications.
Assist with recruitment and onboarding administration where required.
Maintain appropriate filing and document-management systems.
Support safeguarding and visitor procedures within the school office.
Ensure administrative information is processed accurately.
Help identify improvements to office systems and processes.
Work closely with the School Business Manager and senior leadership team.
Support other administrative functions during busy periods.
The successful candidate will have strong previous experience in office management school administration or a similar professional environment.
You should be confident coordinating colleagues and managing multiple responsibilities simultaneously.
The role requires someone who is proactive and capable of identifying what needs to be done without requiring constant supervision.
Excellent communication skills are essential as the Office Manager will regularly communicate with staff students parents visitors and external organisations.
You must also be confident handling confidential information and understand the importance of professional standards within a school environment.
Strong IT skills are required particularly Microsoft Word Excel and Outlook.
Previous experience as an Office Manager School Administrator or Senior Administrator.
