Job Summary
Subject to Joint Boarding process and single Service (sS) policies a vacancy will arise for a OF2 - OF3 to serve as Resilience Business Continuity Coordinator 1 at Northwood Headquarters on FTRS (LC) Terms and Conditions of Service (TaCoS) with an initial proposed start date of 04 Jan 27.
Unit Function
Cyber & Specialist Operations Command (CSOC) Principal Security Advisor (PSyA) Team advise the Security Risk Owner (via the Senior Security Risk Coordinator) on the maintenance of protective security within the Lead Command (LC) against Terrorism Espionage Sabotage Subversion and Organised Crime. The Principal Security Advisor Team does this by providing governance managing security risks delivering assurance conducting investigations and coordinating resilience risks across the LC.
Position Role
CSOC Resilience & Business Continuity Coordinator 1 (Res & BC1) (2x Roles) supports the CSOC Resilience Lead in embedding and promoting Resilience by conducting assurance activity across the LC and responsible for coordinating and cohering resilience risk with overlap with Role 2.
Responsibilities
- Ensure accurate and timely completion of LC and sub-Command quarterly returns especially wrt Risk iaw with LC Holding to Account and LC Policies.
- Contributing to an accurate and up-to-date organisational picture to include risk owners and lines of accountability and reviewing and refreshing the associated paperwork
- Ensure compliance with bespoke assurance tools (ICAR/Res Perf Tool-RPT) and identifying lessons to drive resilience improvements
- Ensure coherence to BC Management System returns iaw MOD (JSP503) CSOC and UK Resilience Frameworks and International standards
- Maintain clear documentation and evidence of improvements including readiness benefits and risk reduction achieved through assurance
- Assist accurate timely and updated information input to LC governance and assurance and holding to account
- Assist the review and update of CSOC Reserves Policy documentation
- Undertake other duties as delegated by the LC Reserves Lead and/or PSyA CSOC
