Occupational Therapist Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive pediatric occupational therapy evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Provide evidence-based occupational therapy interventions to improve:
    • Fine motor and gross motor skills
    • Sensory processing
    • Coordination and balance
    • Strength and range of motion
    • Activities of Daily Living (ADLs)
    • Functional independence
  • Educate and train parents and caregivers on home programs and therapeutic strategies.
  • Collaborate with Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs) Speech-Language Pathologists Physical Therapists nurses physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive family-centered care.
  • Supervise Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs) when applicable.
  • Complete timely documentation while maintaining compliance with state and company standards.
  • Build strong lasting relationships with patients and families through compassionate one-on-one care.
Qualifications
  • Masters or Doctoral Degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
  • Current Texas Occupational Therapist license (or eligible to obtain before start date).
  • Pediatric Occupational Therapy experience preferred.
  • One year of experience preferred; new graduates are encouraged to apply.
  • Excellent communication organizational and clinical skills.
  • Passion for helping children achieve developmental milestones and greater independence.
