Occupational Therapist
Job Summary
- Assess patients physical psychological and social needs to develop individualised treatment plans.
- Implement therapeutic programs to improve patients ability to perform daily activities.
- Collaborate with other health care professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Educate patients and their families on therapeutic techniques and strategies for home use.
- Monitor and document patients progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
- Maintain up-to-date patient records and ensure compliance with health care regulations.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of best practices in occupational therapy.
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution.
- Current state licensure as an Occupational Therapist.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a health care setting.
- Strong understanding of therapeutic techniques and patient care standards.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Commitment to continuous professional development and staying current with industry advancements.
- Driving/Access to a Vehicle is essential for this role.
