We are currently looking to recruit a part time Occupational Therapist to join our Occupational Therapy team.
You will be reporting to the Advanced Practitioneryou will be responsible for carrying out assessments to identify needs and agree an action plans to meet the needs taking into account current eligibility criteria. This will include recommending relevant major adaptations in line with current legislation and local processes.
We are looking for someone who has good knowledge of equipment including specialist equipment promote its safe use promote and maintain good inter agency working partnerships and help to deliver excellent services to the residents of Bedford Borough.
You will hold a degree in Occupational Therapy or equivalent and registration with HCPC. Have good communication skills and extensive experience of completing assessments for major adaptations. You will be able to work autonomously as part of team as well as multiagency working to ensure that the health and wellbeing of adults in Bedford Borough are paramount to service delivery.
