Unit Role: Sub-unit of the Maritime Intelligence Analysis Group delivering and cohering intelligence support to Royal Navy Air assets.
Position Role: Officer Commanding the Maritime Air Intelligence Centre (MAIC)
Responsibilities:
Responsible to CO Maritime Intelligence Analysis Group (MIAG) for the establishment of the Maritime Air Intelligence Centre (MAIC) as a sub-unit of the MIAG based at RNAS YEOVILTON.
Coordinate the delivery of a Service Level Agreements (SLA) between CO MIAG and RNAS YEOVILTON.
Lead the Naval Intelligence Enterprise (NIE)s input into Project DIKTAEAN the establishment of a STRAP Cleared Environment (SCE) at RNAS YEOVILTON.
Set the conditions for the transfer of liability for the Intelligence staff at YEOVILTON from the appropriate 2* directorates to COMOPS under the MIAG.
Set the conditions for the subordination of the CULDROSE Station Intelligence Facility (CSIF) under the MAIC when fully established.
