This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established care provider and lead a medium-sized nursing home that is dedicated to delivering exceptional care for older adults.
This service is looking for a confident and experienced Nursing Home Manager to oversee the day-to-day running of a home providing general nursing and dementia care. The ideal candidate will be a Registered Nurse (RGN RMN) with previous nursing home management experience although experienced managers holding a Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care will also be considered. Previous experience managing a nursing home is essential.
Recently refurbished the home has been thoughtfully redesigned to enhance residents comfort independence and quality of life. Bright airy living spaces create a welcoming atmosphere while beautifully maintained gardens provide peaceful outdoor areas where residents can relax socialise and enjoy meaningful activities.
What Were Looking For
Previous experience as a Nursing Home Manager is essential.
NMC registration (RGN RMN) is highly desirable.
Managers with a Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care will also be considered.
Strong knowledge of CQC regulations clinical governance and safeguarding.
Proven ability to lead teams improve quality standards and achieve positive inspection outcomes.
Excellent leadership communication and organisational skills.

Nursing Home Manager Responsibilities
Lead the day-to-day management of the nursing home ensuring the delivery of exceptional person-centred care.
Inspire support and develop a multidisciplinary team to achieve outstanding outcomes.
Maintain compliance with CQC regulations safeguarding requirements and all relevant legislation.
Monitor clinical governance quality assurance and continuous improvement initiatives.
Manage budgets occupancy staffing levels and operational performance.
Build positive relationships with residents families healthcare professionals and external agencies.
Support recruitment staff development appraisals and succession planning.
Promote a positive culture where residents dignity independence and wellbeing remain the highest priority.
