Nursery Practitioner (Level 3)

30000 per year Level 3 Permanent Good Ofsted

Set within a beautifully converted house this Good Ofsted-rated nursery combines the character and warmth of a home-from-home setting with carefully designed spaces for early years learning. Cosy age-specific rooms give children environments suited to each stage of their development while a mixture of indoor and outdoor play areas provides plenty of opportunities to explore create and learn through play.

As a Level 3 Nursery Practitioner youll become part of a friendly team focused on creating meaningful experiences for children while providing the consistency and nurturing relationships that help them feel safe confident and ready to learn.

What Were Looking For

  • Full and relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification (or equivalent).
  • Previous experience working within a nursery or early years setting.
  • Good understanding of the EYFS framework and child development.
  • Strong knowledge of safeguarding and child protection requirements.
  • Confidence planning engaging activities around childrens interests and individual needs.
  • A warm patient and enthusiastic approach.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Your Role

  • Provide high-quality care and education in line with the EYFS framework.
  • Plan engaging activities that encourage childrens curiosity creativity and independence.
  • Support childrens individual routines learning and developmental needs.
  • Make full use of the nurserys indoor and outdoor environments to create varied learning experiences.
  • Act as a Key Person building secure and positive relationships with children and their families.
  • Observe and assess childrens progress using their interests and development to plan appropriate next steps.
  • Encourage children to develop confidence and independence through play and everyday experiences.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain a welcoming and positive nursery environment.
  • Maintain high standards of safeguarding health and safety at all times.
