Level 3 Nursery Practitioner

Up to 27400 per annum 40 Hours Per Week

Our client is looking for a passionate Level 3 Nursery Practitioner to join their Good Ofsted-rated nursery. Designed to support childrens learning and wellbeing the nursery offers spacious thoughtfully planned indoor and outdoor environments where children are encouraged to develop confidence independence and a love of learning every day.

The calm welcoming rooms provide an ideal space for focused play and discovery while free-flow access allows children to move seamlessly between the indoor and outdoor environments. Outside children can enjoy a large garden complete with a mud kitchen and plenty of space to explore investigate and learn through hands-on experiences in nature.

What Were Looking For

  • Full and relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification
  • Previous experience working within a nursery or early years setting
  • Strong understanding of the EYFS framework
  • Knowledge of safeguarding and child protection procedures
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • A warm caring and child-centred approach to childcare

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality care and education in line with the EYFS framework
  • Plan and participate in engaging child-led learning experiences
  • Support childrens emotional social physical and cognitive development
  • Make full use of the nurserys free-flow indoor and outdoor learning environments
  • Encourage curiosity creativity and independence through outdoor play including activities in the mud kitchen
  • Observe assess and monitor childrens progress
  • Build positive relationships with children families and colleagues
  • Maintain safeguarding health & safety and nursery standards at all times
