Nursery Practitioner (Part Time Maternity Cover)

St. Johns CofE Primary School is part of the Midsomer Norton Schools Partnership. We are a Church of England school that seeks to provide a firm foundation for learning and caring that ensures all children achieve their full potential.

We are looking to appoint a Nursery Practitioner to join our friendly and enthusiastic team at Next Steps Nursery to cover a maternity leave. The position is part time all year round.

We are looking for a practitioner who:

Has a good understanding of the EYFS and child development

Is warm caring patient and nurturing with a genuiene passion for working with young children

Is committed to working effectively in a team

Has strong communication skills with children parents and collegues

Has the ability to plan and support engaging age-appropriate activities that promote learning through play

Is reliable enthusiastic professional and committed to providing high-quality care
