Job Summary

For the Nursery Practitioner it is essential that you hold a relevant childcare qualification Level 2 minimum and have experience working within management in Early Years. Level 2 qualifications in Maths and English including functional skills are also a must if you obtained a Level 3 qualification after 2014.

What youll be doing!
Be a consistent key person Offer comfort stability and strong relationships for your key children.
Observe and plan learning Record observations and plan next steps to support each childs development.
Use varied teaching strategies Adapt approaches to meet different learning styles and interests.
Create enabling environments Set up inspiring spaces that spark curiosity awe and exploration.
Support SEND needs Work with families and professionals to provide tailored support for children with additional needs.
Safeguard children effectively Follow safeguarding procedures and report concerns promptly to the DSL.
Carry out safety checks Contribute to daily
