Nursery Practitioner (Level 2 or Level 3)

per year Full Time

Recently refurbished the nursery offers bright airy rooms that have been carefully designed to inspire curiosity and support every stage of childrens development.

Outside children benefit from a fantastic outdoor environment thats accessible throughout the year allowing them to enjoy fresh air active play and hands-on learning in every season. The nursery also delivers a dedicated school readiness programme helping children build the confidence independence and key skills theyll need for a smooth transition into primary education.

As a Level 2 or Level 3 Nursery Practitioner youll join a welcoming and supportive team thats passionate about providing exceptional care and creating meaningful learning experiences for every child.

What Were Looking For

• Full and relevant Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification (or equivalent).
• Previous experience working within an early years setting.
• Good knowledge of the EYFS framework and safeguarding requirements.
• A caring enthusiastic and nurturing approach.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• A genuine passion for supporting childrens learning and development.

Your Role

• Deliver high-quality care and education in line with the EYFS framework.
• Plan and provide engaging activities that support childrens learning confidence and development.
• Build positive relationships with children families and colleagues.
• Observe assess and record childrens progress to support their individual learning journeys.
• Make full use of the nurserys indoor and outdoor learning environments to create exciting play-based experiences.
• Support children as they develop the confidence and key skills needed for school through the nurserys school readiness programme.
• Maintain a safe stimulating and inclusive environment where every child can thrive.
• Follow safeguarding health and safety and nursery policies at all times.
