The role:
At Next we have a great opportunity for a Level 3 Nursery Practitioner to join our onsite nursery at the Next Head Office in Leicester. You will also have the potential to earn a discretionary 10% attendance bonus increasing your earning potential to 14.44 per hour.
This is a part time position working 32 hours per week 9.00am-6.00pm Monday Tuesday Wednesday & Friday
What youll take on:
- Plan and implement sophisticated age-appropriate activities that challenge and inspire individual development.
- Manage comprehensive Records of Achievement for your allocated children ensuring their milestones are documented with care.
- Act as a professional point of contact for families fostering a collaborative approach to their childs learning journey.
- Work closely with parents of children with SEND to ensure seamless integration and tailored support.
- Maintain a culture of vigilance adhering to strict safeguarding and Health & Safety protocols to ensure a secure environment.
- Oversee the well being of children including nutritional needs hygiene and providing a comforting environment for rest and recovery.
What youll bring:
- A recognised Level 3 Nursery qualification (or working towards it) and a strong command of English.
- Deep practical knowledge of the EYFS curriculum and a proven track record of purposeful planning.
- The ability to liaise confidently with parents carers and senior management while maintaining strict confidentiality.
- An enthusiastic energetic and flexible approach. You should be someone who leads by example and is willing to support the team across all areas of the nursery operation.
