Nursery Manager

Up to 47500 per year 40 Hours per Week

This nursery offers fully equipped rooms designed to provide children with an engaging stimulating and enriching Early Years experience. Beyond the classrooms a huge and varied outdoor play area gives children plenty of space to be active explore their surroundings and take their learning in new directions.

At the heart of the nursery is a bespoke and personalised approach to each child recognising that children develop differently and creating experiences around their individual interests needs and next steps.

Were looking for a strong and experienced Nursery Manager who can take ownership of the setting inspire the team and maintain consistently high standards across care education and the wider nursery operation.

What Were Looking For

  • A full and relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification or above
  • Proven Nursery Manager experience essential
  • A strong track record of successfully leading an Early Years setting
  • Excellent knowledge of the EYFS safeguarding and Ofsted requirements
  • Confidence leading motivating and developing a nursery team
  • A strong understanding of how to deliver individualised child-centred Early Years practice
  • Experience managing staffing deployment ratios and day-to-day operations
  • The ability to identify areas for improvement and drive standards forward
  • Strong organisational and decision-making skills
  • Excellent relationships with children families and colleagues

Making the Nursery Your Own

  • Take overall responsibility for the successful day-to-day running of the nursery
  • Lead inspire and develop the Early Years team
  • Maintain consistently high standards of care education and safeguarding
  • Ensure the EYFS is delivered effectively while maintaining a personalised approach to every child
  • Support practitioners to create stimulating experiences based around childrens individual interests and development
  • Make full use of the nurserys extensive indoor and outdoor environments
  • Oversee staffing ratios recruitment and team development
  • Maintain strong standards across Ofsted safeguarding health and safety and compliance
  • Build positive partnerships with parents and families
  • Drive continuous improvement and support the nurserys ongoing success
