Nursery Cleaner, Stirchley, Birmingham

The Role

We are looking for a reliable and hardworking cleaner who takes pride in their work and understands the importance of maintaining a clean safe and hygienic environment for young children.

Working 2 hours each evening (Monday to Friday) you will help ensure our nursery is cleaned to a high standard ready for the next day supporting the health wellbeing and safety of the children and team.

Key responsibilities include:

Cleaning nursery rooms play areas and shared spaces.
Emptying bins and maintaining tidy learning environments.
Wiping and disinfecting surfaces tables toys touchpoints and kitchen areas.
Cleaning toilets nappy changing areas and replenishing supplies.
Vacuuming sweeping and mopping floors.
Ensuring cleaning products are stored safely and securely.
Reporting low stock maintenance issues or any concerns to management.

What Were Looking For

Someone reliable with excellent attention to detail.
Able to work independently and follow cleaning procedures carefully.
Previous cleaning experience preferred ideally in a nursery school or similar environment.
A friendly trustworthy and positive attitude.
Commitment to maintaining high standards of hygiene health and safety.
Willingness to follow safeguarding and security procedures.

Hours & Pay

12 hours per week Mon-Fri
Rate: 12.71 per hour
