Salary: 40000 to 52000 plus bonus and benefits

Youll join a specialist Land and Property Dispute Resolution team doing varied high-quality contentious work with the support and structure you need to grow your confidence quickly.

This role sits within a recognised Land and Property Dispute Resolution team acting for businesses and individuals across England on the full spectrum of contentious property matters. The team is growing and looking for an ambitious NQ Solicitor with some commercial property litigation exposure who wants to develop as a property litigation specialist.

Youll manage your own matters under appropriate supervision support senior fee earners and get involved in business development in a way thats encouraged and supported.

What Youll Be Doing

• Managing matters under appropriate supervision and delivering an excellent client experience

• Drafting correspondence and court documents

• Liaising with the Court instructing counsel and experts

• Attending hearings and all-party meetings

• Building and maintaining strong client relationships

• Supporting other team members and supervising junior colleagues where appropriate

• Developing your technical and commercial expertise in property litigation

• Working collaboratively within the team and across the wider firm

• Promoting the firms values internally and externally

What Youll Be Working On

• Landlord and tenant disputes including lease renewals dilapidations break clauses and forfeiture

• Real property disputes including restrictive covenants easements rights of light trespass and possession

• Property contract claims

• Negligence disputes involving property professionals

What Were Looking For

• Newly Qualified Solicitor

• Some commercial property litigation experience (or a strong contentious property seat during training)

• Exposure across a range of property litigation matters including real property landlord and tenant and contractual disputes

• Confidence managing a caseload with appropriate supervision

• Strong attention to detail and high standards of accuracy

• Strong organisation planning and deadline management

• Clear communication skills and confident client handling

• Confident IT user

• Willingness to get involved in business development and contribute to team growth
