Nightshift Warehouse Team Leader

Job Summary
We are looking for a confident and hands-on Warehouse Team Leader to join our Sheffield operation. This is a fantastic opportunity to step into a fast-paced modern warehouse environment where you will lead a team to help deliver excellent service for a range of key customers.
In this role you will support the Shift Manager in leading motivating and developing the team while making sure productivity quality health and safety and customer service standards are achieved every day. You will play a key part in keeping the operation running smoothly and ensuring all customer requirements are delivered to a high standard.
This is a full-time permanent position working Monday to Friday on a nightshift from 10:00pm to 06:00am
Salary: 26715 per annum
What youll be doing
- Lead organise and support a team of around 10 warehouse colleagues across the VAS operation including labelling out-of-case labelling and other customer-specific activities.
- Drive shift performance to ensure productivity service and operational KPI targets are consistently achieved.
- Promote high standards of health safety hygiene and compliance making sure all processes and records are completed accurately.
- Carry out quality and compliance checks to ensure the operation meets customer and audit standards.
- Deliver team briefings and clear communication so colleagues stay informed engaged and focused on priorities.
- Support the smooth running of goods in and warehouse operations so stock is received handled and made available efficiently.
- Coach support and develop team members to maximise performance and encourage progression.
- Support people processes including investigations disciplinary and grievance matters in line with company procedures.
Qualifications :
What were looking for
- Previous warehouse experience ideally within a fast-paced operation
- Previous team leader or supervisory experience in a similar environment.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to share information clearly and confidently.
- Able to prioritise workloads effectively and meet deadlines in a busy operational environment.
- A proven ability to motivate teams and help deliver or exceed targets and KPIs.
- Confident using IT systems and standard computer applications.
- Professional approachable and supportive in the way you work with others.
