Nightshift Warehouse Operative

We have a fantastic opportunity for Nightshift Warehouse Operatives to join our Newton Abbott team supporting key retail warehouse operations in a fast-paced modern environment. This is a hands-on role where you will play an important part in keeping stock moving accurately safely and efficiently while being part of a reliable and supportive team.

This is a full-time permanent opportunity working Friday to Tuesday Nights between 21:00 and 07:00

The role is based in a chilled warehouse environment so you will need to be comfortable working in temperatures of around 3 degrees.

Salary:

• Between 12.71 - 19:86 per hour depending on shift
• Opportunity to boost earning potential with Premium overtime rates

What youll be doing:

• To ensure you load/unload product strictly in line with the Companys policies and procedures.
• To ensure the correct documentation is completed for all inbound and dispatch loads.
• Reporting any trailer or MHE faults in line with Company procedures and ensuring VOR vehicles are placed in the designated areas.
• To remain vigilant in ensuring goods are picked and assembled accurately as per instructions.
• To ensure dispatched loads are properly secured prior to leaving the loading bay.
• To reach and maintain the standards required to meet the Companys productivity targets.
• Ensure all practices and procedures are safely carried out in line with the Companys Health & Safety policy SSOWs and HACCP regulations where appropriate and to challenge colleagues who fail to adhere to any such rules or regulations.
• Ensure customer returns are received recorded and notified to the appropriate Stock Controller

Qualifications :

• Recent warehouse experience in a fast-paced environment is an advantage
• Confident working to clear targets and KPIs and delivering strong performance
• Comfortable working in a chilled warehouse environment
• Strong verbal communication and numerical accuracy
• Reliable hardworking and committed to doing the job well
