Job Summary
What youll be doing:
- Safely operate LPG counterbalance forklift trucks to load unload move and organise palletised freight.
- Use forklift-mounted scanning technology to accurately record freight movements and support full traceability across the network.
- Handle goods with care and accuracy following site scanning labelling and placement procedures.
- Work closely with Team Leaders and colleagues to achieve daily operational targets.
- Follow all health and safety procedures proactively identifying and reporting risks or unsafe practices.
- Complete daily pre-use checks on equipment and report any faults or maintenance requirements promptly.
- Keep work areas clean organised and compliant with company standards.
- Support wider hub activity when required including freight checks bay organisation and general operational support.
Qualifications :
What were looking for
- A valid forklift licence RTITB or equivalent ideally with at least one years experience.
- Experience operating gas or diesel counterbalance trucks is preferred although electric truck experience will also be considered.
- Good literacy and numeracy skills to support accurate paperwork and freight handling.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work safely in a fast-paced environment.
- A reliable flexible and team-focused approach.
