About the Role
We are looking for compassionate and dedicated Female Support Workers to join our team in a sleep-in only role. This is a hands-on position supporting individuals with all aspects of daily living both at home and in the community.
This role consists of:
Active evening support:8:00pm 11:00pm paid at 14.00 per hour
Sleep-in shift:11:00pm 7:00am paid at a fixed rate of 45.00 per shift
You will play a key role in supporting individuals to live independently safely and with dignity while achieving their personal goals.
Please note: This role involves providing personal care. Where appropriate this may be considered a genuine occupational requirement in line with the Equality Act 2010.
Key Responsibilities
Follow individual support plans and risk assessments
Support individuals with evening routines and daily living tasks
Assist with personal care where required (washing bathing toileting)
Administer medication in line with training and policies
Promote a calm safe and supportive environment overnight
Respond appropriately to any overnight support needs or emergencies
Encourage independence choice and skill development
Maintain accurate records and report incidents or concerns
Work collaboratively with colleagues and attend handovers and meetings
Promote safeguarding and wellbeing at all times
Requirements
A full UK manual driving licence (essential)
Willingness to drive a mobility vehicle
Understanding of Positive Behaviour Support (PBS)
A proactive caring and reliable approach
Good communication and teamwork skills
Flexibility to work shifts including sleep-ins and alternate weekends
