NGS Team Leader

Were looking for an experienced NGS Team Leader to lead and grow our expanding sequencing laboratory as we launch innovative new biosafety testing services. This is a unique opportunity to combine hands-on scientific expertise with leadership helping shape a cutting-edge laboratory supporting some of the worlds most advanced medicines.

What youll be doing:

• Lead day-to-day delivery of NGS testing services ensuring quality efficiency and turnaround targets are achieved.
• Drive GMP compliance quality systems audits investigations CAPAs and risk management activities.
• Oversee laboratory operations equipment facilities and laboratory readiness.
• Support the implementation and continuous improvement of NGS workflows and processes.
• Develop train and mentor a high-performing team of scientists and laboratory staff.

Qualifications :

What were looking for:

• Degree in Molecular Biology Genetics Biochemistry or a related Life Sciences discipline.
• Significant experience with Next Generation Sequencing (NGS) in a regulated environment (GMP GLP GCLP or similar).
• Strong knowledge of sequencing workflows sample preparation library construction and data interpretation.
• Proven leadership experience managing laboratory teams operations and quality systems.
• Excellent communication project management and problem-solving skills.
