We are looking for a .NET Developer to help convert our WinForms desktop application into a web application built with C# MVC and Bootstrap. Youll bring existing screens and features to the web matching the behaviour customers rely on while building responsive pages and maintaining a clean MVC architecture.

For each screen youll be expected to understand the current functionality produce a design get feedback from the web team then develop test and deliver it. AI tools such as Claude Code will be provided; however youll need to have the requisite understanding of the technologies involved.

Responsibilities:

• Web migration: Convert WinForms screens and features to the web matching existing behaviour.

• Web development: Build responsive pages using MVC Razor Bootstrap HTML CSS and JavaScript.

• Application architecture: Keep controllers thin and place logic in the right layer including view models services and data access.

• Database development: Write and optimise SQL Server queries and stored procedur

• Strong C# development experience.

• MVC experience including controllers Razor views view models routing and validation.

• A sound understanding of MVC separation of concerns and what belongs in controllers view models services and data access.

• Experience with Bootstrap HTML CSS and JavaScript.

• SQL Server and T-SQL experience.

• Experience using Azure DevOps.

• A keen eye for detail clear communication collaborative working and ownership of your work.
  

Its a bonus if you have:

• Experience migrating WinForms or other desktop applications to the web.

• Experience with Core.

• Knowledge of rental hire or ERP software and business processes.
