About the role

As our National Technical Manager youll lead and develop a talented team ofTechnicians.Youll be responsible for the day-to-day leadership of theTechnicalteam ensuring we deliver exceptional service to our customers while maintaining safe efficient and consistent operations across the UK.

This is a hands-on leadership role that combines people management operationalplanningand customer engagement.As a team leader you willbe responsible forsetting & tracking team targets and delivering results in line with business goals while adapting priorities and setting clear expectations when needed.Youllwork closely with teams across the business to drive continuous improvement develop technical capability and ensure our customers receive the knowledgeable friendly service that Allpress is known for.

No two days areexactly the same butyoullspend your time supporting and leading ourTechnicalteam to deliver exceptional service across the UK.You will oversee scheduling resource planning and service delivery to ensure customer needs are met efficiently.Youllwork closely with technicians customersexternal machinerysuppliersand internalteamsto ensure our service standardsremainconsistently high.


About you

Youll be a people-first leader who enjoys building strong high-performing teams and helping others develop their skills and confidence. Youre approachable supportive and know how to create an environment where people feel motivated accountable and empowered to do their best work.

Youll bring experience leading technical or operational teams balancing day-to-day priorities while keeping an eye on the bigger picture. Youre an excellent communicator naturally organised and thrive on bringing people together to deliver great outcomes for customers and colleagues alike.

  • Experience inmanaging a team.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to build strong relationships across teams and with customers.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Experience managing operational workflows planning resources and driving continuous improvement.
  • A customer-focused mindset with a track record of delivering exceptional service
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make practical considered decisions.
  • Experience within a technical service field service equipment hospitality coffee or related operational environment would be highlybeneficial.

Details:

Hours: 5 days per week around 40 hours per week.

Days: Monday - Friday

Times: Normally 9-5

Salary: 38000-39000 (salary isdependanton experience)

Probation period: 3 months

Reporting to:Head of Wholesale UK
