Our client is looking to appoint an enthusiastic and inspiring Music Teacher to join a successful secondary school in Stevenage. The successful candidate will be expected to teach Music across KS3 and KS4 delivering engaging lessons that allow students to develop their theoretical knowledge practical skills and confidence in performing.
The ideal Music Teacher will have a genuine passion for the subject and be able to inspire students through a mixture of practical activities composition performance and theoretical study. You will be expected to plan and deliver well-structured lessons that cater for students with different levels of musical experience and ability.
The successful applicant will become part of a department that values creativity and encourages students to take an active role in their musical development. There may also be opportunities to contribute to extracurricular activities performances concerts and wider school events.
This position would suit a teacher who enjoys creating an energetic and positive classroom environment and who can encourage students to develop their confidence through music. The school is happy to consider applications from experienced teachers and ECTs as well as overseas-qualified teachers with an appropriate formal teaching qualification.

Music Teacher with the ability to teach at KS3 & KS4
Strong knowledge of Music and relevant curriculum requirements
Formal teaching qualification with QTS such as a PGCE
Ability to deliver engaging practical and theoretical lessons
Strong classroom management and communication skills
Legal ability to work within the UK
