An Outstanding secondary school in Liverpool is looking to appoint a Music Teacher as soon as possible to join its high-achieving and supportive Performing Arts department. This would be on a part-time basis.

You will be joining a team committed to delivering engaging lessons and helping students develop confidence in performing composing listening and appraising music across a range of styles and genres.

The Role

You will teach Music across KS3 and KS4 with opportunities to contribute to KS5 for the right candidate. Lessons should be engaging inclusive and challenging encouraging students to explore practical and theoretical aspects of music while developing creativity technical ability and performance confidence.

The department has a strong culture of collaboration with teachers regularly sharing ideas resources and best practice. There will also be opportunities to contribute to extracurricular activities such as choirs bands ensembles school productions concerts competitions and enrichment projects.

Students are well-behaved motivated and respond positively to teachers who are supportive knowledgeable and passionate about Music and the performing arts.
