Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
Strong subject knowledge and a genuine passion for Music.
Experience teaching Music in a UK secondary school.
Ability to deliver engaging lessons across KS3 and KS4 with KS5 teaching where appropriate.
Confident classroom management and effective communication skills.
A creative approach to lesson planning and student engagement.
Commitment to supporting students of different abilities and backgrounds.

As Music Teacher you will plan and deliver a broad curriculum covering performance composition listening and music theory. You will help students develop practical skills and musical understanding while creating an inclusive classroom where all learners feel encouraged to participate.
Key responsibilities include:
Delivering well-structured Music lessons across KS3-KS5 as appropriate.
Teaching performance composition listening and music theory.
Assessing progress and providing clear constructive feedback.
Maintaining high standards of behaviour and participation.
Supporting extracurricular music activities and performances where required.
Working with colleagues to develop engaging curriculum resources.
