Our client is seeking an enthusiastic Music Teacher to join a successful secondary school in Cambridgeshire. This is an excellent opportunity for a teacher who is passionate about music and committed to helping students develop their practical theoretical and performance skills.

The successful applicant will teach Music across KS3 and KS4 delivering lessons that combine practical performance composition listening and appraisal alongside the development of students theoretical knowledge.

You will be expected to create engaging lessons that cater for students with different levels of musical experience. The ability to encourage students who are new to performing while also challenging more advanced musicians will be an important part of the role.

The successful candidate will become part of a collaborative department and contribute to the development of the Music curriculum. There may also be opportunities to support extracurricular activities performances concerts and wider school events.

The school is looking for a teacher who can demonstrate enthusiasm for Music and who can inspire students to participate confidently in both individual and group activities.

• Qualified Music Teacher with relevant subject knowledge

• Ability to teach Music across KS3 and KS4

• QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification

• Strong practical and theoretical understanding of Music

• Ability to teach composition performance and music theory

• Experience working with students of different abilities

• Strong classroom management and communication skills

• Ability to contribute to extracurricular Music activities would be advantageous

• Legal ability to work within the UK
