Job Description

My client is a fast-growing forward-thinking manufacturing business investing heavily in its future. They are looking for a Multiskilled Engineer to join their night shift team on a temporary basis of up to 16 months.

The Multiskilled Engineer will ideally have the following attributes:

Time-served or Level 3 qualified in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (with strong mechanical experience)
Proven experience in mechanical maintenance within a manufacturing or production environment
Confident carrying out fault finding strip-downs and rebuilds on production machinery
Experience working on conveyors pumps bearings chains belts and rotary machinery
Familiar with pneumatic systems including valves cylinders and airlines
Able to carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) to improve equipment reliability
Some electrical fault finding experience (motors sensors drives) is beneficial but not essential
Able to work independently and make decisions on nights with minimal supervision
Reliable safety-conscious and comfortable working a permanent night shift pattern

The Multiskilled Engineer will benefit from the following:
