We are recruiting for a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join a leading FMCG manufacturing business based in Erith.

This is a great opportunity for an electrically biased Maintenance Engineer to join a fast-paced manufacturing environment working across production machinery process equipment and site services.

The role will involve planned and reactive maintenance electrical and mechanical fault-finding supporting production uptime and getting involved in continuous improvement activity.

The Role

• Planned and reactive maintenance on production machinery
• Electrical and mechanical fault-finding
• Working on automated manufacturing equipment
• Supporting breakdowns and reducing downtime
• Fault-finding on PLCs HMIs sensors drives and control systems
• Carrying out preventative maintenance
• Supporting reliability and improvement projects
• Recording work using a CMMS system.

Skills Required

• Multi-skilled engineering background
• Electrical bias preferred
• FMCG food drink packaging or manufacturing experience
• PLC fault-finding experience Siemens preferred
• Mechanical maintenance experience
• Recognised engineering qualification or apprenticeship
• 18th Edition desirable
• Good communication and problem-solving skills.
