Multi-Skilled Engineer – Raunds, Northamptonshire

We are currently recruiting for 2 Multi-Skilled Engineers to join a leading facilities management team supporting a busy distribution and manufacturing site in Raunds Northamptonshire.

This is an excellent opportunity for qualified engineers looking for a static site role carrying out both planned preventative maintenance and reactive maintenance within a fast-paced industrial environment.

• 20.19 per hour (PAYE)
  

• Temporary Contract
  
• 1st August 2026 1st November 2026
  
• Monday to Friday
  
• 8:00am 5:00pm
  
• 45 hours per week
  

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) across mechanical and electrical plant.
  
• Respond promptly to reactive maintenance requests and equipment breakdowns.
  
• Diagnose faults and complete repairs efficiently to minimise downtime.
  
• Undertake general building fabric maintenance including doors locks lighting and minor repairs.
  
• Maintain plant and equipment to statutory compliance standards.
  
• Complete maintenance records accurately using the sites maintenance management system.
  
• Work to agreed service level agreements (SLAs) and performance targets.
  
• Liaise with site management contractors and colleagues to ensure effective service delivery.
  
• Follow all health safety and site procedures at all times.
  

• Recognised Electrical or Mechanical qualification (City & Guilds NVQ Level 3 or equivalent).
  
• Previous experience working as a Multi-Skilled Engineer within facilities management manufacturing distribution or commercial environments.
  
• Experience carrying out both planned and reactive maintenance.
  
• Good all-round mechanical electrical and building fabric maintenance skills.
  
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving abilities.
  
• Good understanding of statutory compliance and safe systems of work.
  
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  
• Full right to work in the UK.
  

• Experience working within a distribution centre or warehouse environment.
  
• Knowledge of CAFM or computerised maintenance management systems.
  
• Additional qualifications such as 18th Edition IPAF or PASMA would be advantageous.
  

• 20.19 per hour PAYE
  
• Weekly pay.
  
• Full-time Monday to Friday working pattern.
  
• Static site no travelling between locations.
