Are you an experienced Multi Skilled Engineer looking for a new challenge Look no further! Valeo foods a manufacturer of some of the UKs best loved snacks cakes and confectionery is looking for a new team member of the team!

What youll be doing:

• The daily reporting of breakdowns v PPMs activities
• Prioritisation of repair work
• Planning and Monitoring machine performance
• Working with the Planning Department to negotiate machine availability
• Monitoring failure
• Supporting External Contractors
• Technical support for production when required
• To maintain the highest standards in housekeeping adopting a clean as you go policy.
• To maintain the highest standards when completing paperwork and works sign off.

Key areas of the role:

• Carrying out of the engineering activities.
• Achieving P.P.M. Plans and completion rates.
• Minimizing engineering downtime.
• Maintaining GMP and safety standards within the Engineering Department.
• Implementing and ensuring compliance of engineering processes within the team.
• Ensuring the highest engineering audit standards at all times Ensuring Engineering skills and knowledge are maintained at the highest level.

Qualifications :

About you:

• Relevant engineering qualification 
• Able to prove competency in all forms of isolation electrical safety and safe panel entry alongside mechanical experience 
• Experience of FMCG operations
• PC Literate (thereby able to use computer-based maintenance systems)
