As an MOT Motor Vehicle Technician youll carry out MOT testing servicing repairs and maintenance across a wide range of vehicles ensuring every customer receives a first-class experience and leaves with complete confidence in their vehicle.

An average day as a MOT Motor Vehicle Technician

• Reporting to the Service Manager youll be responsible for delivering exceptional workmanship while meeting both franchise and company standards.
• Carry out servicing maintenance and repairs on a wide variety of vehicles.
• Complete all work efficiently and accurately meeting manufacturer franchise and company quality standards.
• Diagnose faults carry out repairs and perform vehicle testing using the latest equipment and technology.
• Replace components parts lubricants and consumables while maintaining accurate records and producing clear professional job write-ups for both customers and manufacturers.
• Maintain a clean safe and organised workshop following all Health & Safety policies and procedures.
• Identify and communicate vehicle faults and future maintenance requirements through Vehicle Health Checks and our Video Health Check process helping customers make informed decisions.

About you

• We welcome applications from technicians with experience in the automotive industry who are passionate about delivering high-quality work.
• Youll hold a minimum Level 2 NVQ (or equivalent) in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair together with a valid MOT Tester Licence.
• Youll be a great communicator who enjoys working as part of a team and delivering an excellent customer experience.
• Youll be confident working in a busy workshop environment using your technical expertise to diagnose problems and find effective solutions.
• An Electric and Hybrid qualification would be an advantage but its not essentialwell provide full training and support.
• Hold a full UK driving licence.
• Most importantly youll take pride in your work enjoy being part of a team and be motivated to continue developing your skills and career.
