Mortgage Administrator


Location: Horsham Office
Hours: Full time MondayFriday 9:00am5:00pm
Salary: depending on experience and knowledge
Holiday: 23 days plus bank holidays increasing annually to 25 days


Role Overview


An experienced Mortgage Administrator is required to join an established mortgage and protection team based in Horsham.

The role involves providing administrative support to the sales/ advisor team managing mortgage cases accurately and within required timescales and delivering an excellent level of customer service.

The successful candidate will be expected to take ownership of customer queries provide appropriate solutions and ensure issues are followed through to completion.


Key Responsibilities


Submit and progress mortgage applications through to legal completion and beyond.

Chase outstanding documentation and ensure applications are fully compliant.

Liaise with solicitors to obtain exchange and completion dates.

Monitor and respond to client emails.

Manage and maintain relationships with repeat clients.

Act as the first point of contact for clients lenders and conveyancers.

Maintain accurate records systems and case files.

Work closely with mortgage advisers to ensure all activities meet compliance and regulatory requirements.

Manage multiple cases and priorities while meeting prescribed timescales.

Provide consistently high-quality customer service throughout the mortgage process.

Experience & Qualifications

At least 1 year of mortgage administration experience.

Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Strong organisational skills and a methodical accurate approach.
