Were looking for a Modern Workplace Lead to help define what that experience looks like in the years ahead.

Reporting to the Senior Manager IT Operations youll lead the development and delivery of our Modern Workplace strategy and roadmap. Youll play a key role in ensuring the technology experience across Aston Martin supports productivity collaboration and innovation while meeting the evolving needs of a modern workforce.

Your remit will span the full end-user technology landscape including Microsoft 365 endpoint management workplace devices hardware asset management software deployment print services and the wider digital employee experience. Youll be responsible for ensuring these services remain operationally robust while identifying new opportunities to improve automation compliance security and user satisfaction.

This role is about much more than service ownership.

Its about understanding how people use technology and creating an environment where that technology enables them to do their best work.

Whether supporting engineers developing future Aston Martin vehicles manufacturing teams delivering world-class craftsmanship or colleagues across commercial and corporate functions youll ensure workplace technology continues to evolve in ways that genuinely improve the experience of our people.

Working closely with Service Desk Cyber Security Software Asset Management IT Governance and external technology partners youll provide technical leadership across the Modern Workplace estate. Youll establish clear governance drive service improvements and ensure new workplace capabilities are delivered successfully and embedded effectively into business-as-usual operations.

Youll also work closely with suppliers and strategic partners ensuring Aston Martin continues to receive maximum value from its workplace technology investments while maintaining high standards of service support and security.

To succeed in this role youll bring a combination of technical expertise strategic thinking and a passion for delivering exceptional user experiences. You may already be leading a Modern Workplace End User Computing or Digital Workplace function or you may have built extensive experience managing workplace technologies within a large and complex enterprise environment.

Youll have strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 and modern productivity platforms alongside experience of enterprise endpoint management using technologies such as Microsoft Intune. Experience across hardware asset management software deployment workplace security compliance endpoint engineering and service management will be equally important. Exposure to platforms such as ServiceNow Tanium Ivanti or similar workplace management technologies will be highly beneficial.

Were particularly interested in individuals who are excited by the future of workplace technology. As Aston Martin continues to explore new ways of enabling our workforce experience with AI-powered workplace capabilities Microsoft 365 Copilot automation experience analytics or digital workplace transformation initiatives will be a distinct advantage.

While this role does not include direct line management responsibility it carries significant influence across the organisation. Youll coach and guide colleagues build strong relationships with stakeholders and partners and help bring teams together to solve challenges and deliver better outcomes.

The role is based at Gaydon with hybrid working and occasional travel to other Aston Martin locations. There may also be occasions where out-of-hours support is required in response to major incidents significant service releases or critical business events.
