Job Summary
To make you aware of the exciting changes happening across our Mobile teams. This position will be moving across to our new location in Brentwood in the near future.
Are you a skilled mechanic looking for a role that offers more independence variety and the opportunity to take your expertise directly to customers
- On-target earnings up to 35838.72
Comprising a base salary of 33038.72
A monthly bonus scheme with average additional earnings of 2800 Per year
44 hour week working 8am - 6pm shifts over 5 days including 1 in 2 weekends
Join Halfords as a Mobile Vehicle Technician and become part of our growing Mobile Expert team delivering workshop-quality servicing maintenance and repair work at customers homes and workplaces. Working from a fully equipped van and supported by smart technology youll manage your own day build trusted customer relationships and use your technical skills to keep the nation moving.
What youll be doing
No two days are the same as you use your technical expertise across a wide range of servicing maintenance and repair work helping to keep the nation moving.
Interim Full and Major vehicle services
Electrical fittings and Battery replacements
Vehicle inspections and fault diagnostics
Tyre fitting puncture repairs and wheel balancing
Air conditioning servicing and re-gassing

What were looking for
NVQ level 2 or level 3 in vehicle maintenance & repair (or time-served experience)
Proven experience in a vehicle servicing & maintenance role
A full UK driving licence with no more than 6 points
Great communication skills and confidence dealing with customers
