Sir William Perkinss School is seeking a proactive and analytical MIS and Data Systems Lead to oversee the Schools Management Information Systems and data services. Reporting to the Assistant Head of Digital Strategy and Projects the successful candidate will lead the effective management development and continuous improvement of the Schools data systems ensuring information is accurate secure and used effectively to support both operational and strategic decision-making.

This is a key role within the School combining day-to-day responsibility for the MIS with a broader focus on improving processes enhancing efficiency and maximising the value of the Schools digital systems. The postholder will oversee core functions including data management reporting timetable imports parents evening bookings statutory returns and user support while identifying opportunities to streamline workflows and improve the user experience for staff students and parents.

An early priority will be leading the successful migration to a new MIS platform managing the project from data preparation and system configuration through to implementation training and ongoing optimisation.

The successful candidate will have experience managing complex information systems and delivering software implementation projects. They will possess strong analytical skills advanced Excel expertise and a thorough understanding of GDPR and school compliance requirements. Knowledge of SQL Power BI or similar reporting tools would be advantageous. This role requires a collaborative adaptable and solution-focused individual who can balance operational excellence with a commitment to the Schools ongoing digital development.
