Stirling Council is excited to be expanding the bus services we operate and launching a brand-new bus service as part of a 2-year pilot project. This new service will connect the Eastern Villages to Stirling improving links for local communitiesand were looking for reliable customer-focused drivers to help make it a success.
This is your chance to play a key role in shaping a brand-new route and provide a vital service that people depend on every day.
What Youll Do
Operate Council vehicles on local bus routes ensuring punctual reliable journeys.
Providing a friendly and professional service to passengers
Handle cash transactions.
Maintaining high standards of safety and customer care
Assist passengers when needed making journeys accessible and comfortable.
What Were Looking For
A minimum of Category D1 licence (PCV experience desirable).
Excellent communication and basic numeric skills.
Ability to work independently and carry out physical duties.
A friendly helpful attitude and commitment to safety.
Desirable Criteria
MiDAS training and experience with mobility aids.
First Aid qualification.
Previous experience in accessible transport.
