Job Summary

Biomedical Scientist in Biochemistry

Banding: Band 6

Location: Milton Keynes University Hospital - Standing Wy Eaglestone Milton Keynes MK6 5LD

Start Date: ASAP

Duration: Ongoing

Working Pattern: 37.5 hours per week (shifts TBC)

Hourly Rate: 22 - 24 PAYE via DE

We are currently seeking a Band 6 Biomedical Scientist specialising in Biochemistry to join our clients team in Milton Keynes. This is a full-time ongoing position working 37.5 hours per week offering a competitive hourly rate and the opportunity to contribute to a busy and well-established laboratory service.

Key Responsibilities

Experienced BMS Needs knowledge of chemistry and working in lab ideal if you have an understanding of Beckman solutions and good understanding of quality aspects

Qualifications and Experience

- HCPC registration

- Degree in Biomedical Science or equivalent

- Experience in Biochemistry within a clinical laboratory

- Experience with automated chemistry analysers

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

- NHS experience (required)
