Mid-Senior Structured Products Associate

The role

This role will focus on synthetic securitisation and Significant Risk Transfer (SRT) transactions advising leading global financial institutions on regulatory capital management balance sheet optimisation and structured credit solutions. The work will include funded and unfunded synthetic securitisations credit risk transfer structures portfolio risk transfer transactions and related structured credit products. You will work on innovative market-leading transactions across multiple jurisdictions and asset classes.

Who you will work with

We advise on a broad range of structured finance transactions including structured products derivatives CLOs and securitisations across asset classes and jurisdictions. Our work covers public and private issuances repackagings synthetic and cash structures warehouses and risk transfer transactions. We act for originators arrangers investors and collateral managers on complex structures supporting clients to navigate regulatory requirements and execute transactions in evolving securitisation markets.

What you will be responsible for

The majority of our work is cross-border and international advising banks insurers investors and alternative capital providers on complex risk transfer transactions. You can expect to take a lead role on SRT and synthetic securitisation matters including structuring transaction execution regulatory analysis investor negotiations and ongoing programme development. You will work closely with colleagues across Structured Finance Regulatory Tax and Derivatives practices to deliver integrated solutions to clients.

Qualifications :

Your experience

We are interested in Mid Senior Level lawyers with experience in synthetic securitisation SRT transactions portfolio risk transfer securitisation and structured finance. Experience advising financial institutions on regulatory capital optimisation initiatives capital relief trades credit linked note programmes or funded and unfunded risk transfer transactions would be particularly valuable.

Candidates may come from leading securitisation structured finance derivatives or banking practices and should demonstrate strong technical drafting skills commercial judgment and an interest in the evolving regulatory capital and risk transfer market. We are open to candidates based in other leading financial centres with relevant experience.
