Youll have extensive experience designing and engineering Microsoft Azure solutions and enjoy leading technical initiatives influencing stakeholders and delivering secure scalable cloud platforms that support business growth.

Required skills and experience:

• Significant experience designing and engineering Microsoft Azure solutions within complex enterprise environments
• Strong expertise across Azure IaaS PaaS and Microsoft Entra ID
• Microsoft Azure certifications (AZ-104 AZ-305 or equivalent experience)
• Excellent understanding of Azure Landing Zones Well-Architected Framework and Cloud Adoption Framework
• Experience designing secure multi-subscription Azure environments
• Strong knowledge of Azure governance networking security controls and cost optimisation
• Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code and automation using Terraform PowerShell Azure DevOps and Azure Automation
• Experience producing high and low-level solution designs and technical documentation
• Understanding of hybrid infrastructure and on-premise environments
• Excellent stakeholder management supplier management and communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences
• A collaborative approach with a continuous improvement mindset

ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

As Microsoft Azure Principal Engineer you will provide technical leadership for Interteks Azure platform ensuring our cloud services remain secure scalable and aligned to business objectives. Working closely with Cyber Security Infrastructure Engineering regional IT teams and strategic technology partners youll lead the design governance and implementation of enterprise Azure solutions while driving innovation and operational excellence.

Key activities:

• Lead the architecture and engineering roadmap for Microsoft Azure services
• Design secure resilient and cost-effective Azure solutions for enterprise projects
• Develop and maintain Azure governance standards policies and best practices
• Deliver Azure Landing Zone aligned architectures and platform improvements
• Drive automation and Infrastructure as Code using modern cloud tooling
• Provide technical leadership throughout solution delivery and operational handover
• Partner with Cyber Security to strengthen cloud security and compliance
• Lead platform optimisation service reviews capacity planning and major incident resolution
• Build strong relationships with Microsoft suppliers and internal stakeholders to deliver continuous improvement
