Are you an experienced Microsoft engineer looking to work with the latest cloud messaging and identity technologies

Were looking for a Microsoft 365 & Messaging Engineer to join our growing Consultancy & Engineering Practice at Computacenter.

Youll work across a variety of customer environments helping to design deliver and support secure resilient Microsoft solutions. From Microsoft 365 and Exchange to Azure and Entra ID youll tackle complex technical challenges while contributing to cloud transformation and modernisation projects.

Youll join a highly skilled team where you can share ideas develop your expertise and continue learning as Microsoft technologies evolve.

What youll do

• Support and optimise Microsoft 365 Exchange Online and Exchange Hybrid environments.
• Troubleshoot complex messaging mail flow and platform issues.
• Deliver mailbox migrations tenant consolidations and modernisation projects.
• Manage email security and compliance across Proofpoint Microsoft Defender Purview SPF DKIM and DMARC.
• Support identity services including Entra ID Conditional Access SSO and Entra Connect.
• Build and manage Azure infrastructure networking storage and compute services.
• Automate infrastructure and operational tasks using PowerShell Azure CLI Bicep or Terraform.
• Implement Azure monitoring governance security and access controls.
• Support CI/CD containers and Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
• Provide third-line technical support and root-cause analysis.
• Collaborate with architects security infrastructure and application teams to deliver effective end-to-end solutions.

What youll need

• Strong experience with Exchange Online Exchange On-Premises and Hybrid.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft 365 Azure and Entra ID.
• Experience with mail flow SMTP routing migrations and email security.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Purview retention eDiscovery and compliance.
• Azure infrastructure experience across compute storage networking monitoring and security.
• Automation skills using PowerShell with experience of Microsoft Graph API Azure CLI or Azure Automation beneficial.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code ideally Bicep ARM or Terraform.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• The ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Ideally 5 years experience supporting enterprise technology platforms.

Microsoft Azure certifications such as AZ-104 alongside Azure Security Networking Architecture Terraform DevOps or ITIL certification would be advantageous.
