An exciting opportunity has become available for a highly experienced Mercedes-Benz Diagnostic Technician to join the areas most respected Independent Mercedes Specialists. This Mercedes-approved workshop has built a reputation on expertise quality and genuine passion for the brand working on everything from modern Mercedes models through to 40-year-old classics.

You will be joining a serious workshop environment alongside six experienced technicians with your own dedicated ramp and the opportunity to work on a wide variety of vehicles that most technicians rarely get exposure to. This role is ideal for someone who genuinely knows Mercedes-Benz inside and out and takes pride in solving complex faults and successful diagnostics.

If working on the same repetitive jobs in a dealership environment has become stale this role offers something completely different - varied work specialist knowledge respected colleagues and a workshop that values technical ability.

Responsibilities

• Carry out advanced Mercedes-Benz diagnostics fault finding servicing and repairs
• Diagnose complex electrical and mechanical issues accurately and efficiently
• Work across the full Mercedes-Benz model range
• Use specialist diagnostic equipment confidently and effectively
• Maintain exceptionally high standards of workmanship
• Work closely with other experienced technicians within the workshop
• Ensure all work is completed professionally and correctly first time

Requirements

• Proven Mercedes-Benz diagnostic experience is essential
• Strong electrical and mechanical diagnostic capability
• Confident working independently on complex faults
• Experience across both modern and older Mercedes models
• High attention to detail and pride in workmanship
• Full UK driving licence preferred

Salary and Benefits

• Up to 47000 DOE
• Monday to Friday 8:30am 5:00pm (4:30pm finish Friday)
• 20 days holiday plus bank holidays
• Mercedes-approved specialist workshop
• Own dedicated ramp
• Work on Mercedes vehicles ranging from 3-year-old models to 40-year-old classics
• Stable workshop with an experienced technical team
• No bonus structure or weekend pressure
